📌 1. Dimensions

  • 2D Shapes: Length & Breadth
  • 3D Shapes: Length, Breadth & Height

📌 2. Faces – Edges – Vertices

  • Face: Flat surface
  • Edge: Line where two faces meet
  • Vertex: Point where edges meet

📌 3. Common Solids & Properties

  • Cube: 6 Faces, 12 Edges, 8 Vertices
  • Cuboid: 6 Faces, 12 Edges, 8 Vertices
  • Cylinder: 3 Faces, 2 Edges, 0 Vertices
  • Cone: 2 Faces, 1 Edge, 1 Vertex
  • Sphere: 1 Curved Face only

📌 4. Nets

A Net is a flat figure which can be folded to form a solid.

👉 Cube has many different nets.

📌 5. Views of Objects

  • Top View
  • Front View
  • Side View

Same object looks different from different directions.

📌 6. Maps & Directions

  • North, South, East, West
  • Used to show position and movement

📌 7. Rotation

Rotation means turning an object about a fixed point.

👉 Shape and size do not change after rotation.
